    Rear sunroof on Previa/Estima vans

This post is a how to on the rear sunroof. It is very common for the plastic arm that move the glass forward and back to brake. Now its not as bad as it sounds. you need only a few things. First thing is a new track. Now if your like me and want it fixed cheap, go to pick and pull and find one. you will know its good if you cant slide it by hand. Witch makes it hard to remove because you have bolts under the glass that need to come off. Not a big deal, heres how. first lower the head liner and rear ac unit. you will see the motor for the sunroof. unbolt the motor from the track housing and remove it. now you should be able to slide the glass back so you can unbolt the rest of the headliner and remove the track in one peace. dont bend the track on removal. that the track out threw the back door. to install take your time. dont be in a rush. this is important when dealing with your rear ac unit. at the front of the unit are three notches that must line up before you bolt it up, so be aware the ac unit is plastic and will brake if you try to force it in.
