Re: Replacing Torsion Bar
Well at least I had that under my belt. But that was about all. I am going there this morning to examine where I am and will probobly get bolts for both sides. If one let go the other is bound to also.
Again, thanks for the feedback and I will let you know how I make out. I plane on doing it Friday morning.
Cheers

Re: Replacing Torsion Bar
It really was a piece of cake. The bolt was in fact stripped. I probably did it by using my hammer drill and was a bit aggressive on it. As a safty measure I mounted a large set of vise grips to the torsion bar to prevent it from springing back if it did, but it didn't.
The entire process took about 3 minutes and that is including removing all the carpet, wooden floor and noise canceling material over the bolt openings.
I still need to replace the bolt. I was able to get it up on some lower threads but now my distance from ground to bolt marker they show in the manual is only 8.5 inches. It needs at least 9 to 9.5. So I will search for a bolt. Looks like M12 1.25 180mm long with a 19mm hex on top.
Thanks again for the help Jan.
