I am getting water coming in under my dash and dripping down into the floor area on both sides. Are there common areas that are prone to leaks on the front of the van? This is happening when driving in heavy rain.

Has your windshield been replaced?
What's the condition of the lower corners of your windshield trim, those areas are known to rust out.
Is there water condensation inside on the windshield or water leaking from the top down to the bottom?
I took a water hose to my Sequoia to preform a leak test and could see that from the top left and right corner water was coming into the truck, I took it in to MS Auto Glass on 85th in the Greenwood area and they preform the same test and confirmed the windshield had a bad seal so I had them replace it, it had been replaced by the previous owner but obviously wasn't sealed properly.

The seals of your wiper arms are another possibility. I have one that leaks on the passenger side, when driving in heavy rain.
This area should be cleaned regularly.
I have a bit of rust near the wiper mount that spread from under the trim. The PO "fixed" it but once I removed the bottom trim, there was a lot of dirt trapped, causing pooling.
Since cleaning a ton of crud out and fixing again, it drains properly.
Any sunroofs? Also a source of leaks from bad seals or clogged drains.
4runners are notorious for this.
