Accidentally tried checking error codes by jumping the big connector

I was trying to check for error codes and I tried to jump the biggest of the 3 connectors and now my van is not starting and the check engine light does not come on on startup. I've checked all the fuses in the main box, but they all looked good. What is the biggest connector for and what may have been damaged by trying to jump this?

Turns out I blew the EFI fuse, which is in that small side box next to the main fuse box. Replaced it and the check engine light works now and the van starts
