Ecu location and idle rpm box smoking

I'm new to this website but excited to be on here. I am confident I blew the computer ecu/pcm in my 1984 toyota van. I smelled smoke and my rpm box is making all my relays go haywire on off constantly if I tap it or wiggle it its worse also i see blown capacitors and resistars I know the ecu is probably the same but I need help pinpointing where it hides I've got the dash all out and don't see it
    thanks a ton,
    Dustin

The ecu is mounted down low in the left(driver side) "B" pillar behind the seat belt retractor.

How does one go about removing the plastic panels to get to the ECU? I don't want to break these panels trying to pry them off.

That should help. Thanks so much. Now I know which way to slide it off of those plastic fasteners, at least.
