Will this work for Power Steering?

Hi! I ordered Dexron III for my 1985 Toyota Van LE but then what arrived was this: (attached)

Is is this safe or optimal for power steering? It says it can replace Dexron III but I want to make sure

Yes, that should work fine. Pretty much anything that states Dexron II or Dexron III & even some Mercon fluids are fine. Really no need to order from Toyota as any auto parts store or even WalMart, convenience stores & some grocery stores will have suitable fluids. This is one of the most common automotive fluids ever. Awesome, thank you, Tim! Seeing "Automatic transmission fluid" scared me for the power steering fluid.

Yes, even the owners manual tells you to use Dexron II Automatic Transmission Fluid. When Dexron ATF was discontinued (about 10 years ago), Dexron III superseded it. In the RV industry, many hydraulic leveling systems and slide room systems also call for Dexron II/Dexron III ATF, or at least allow it as a suitable substitute. Tim
