View Full Version : fusible link 1.2 no longer available...is there a work around for this??

Since the Toyota part #90982-08276 appears to be unavailable ...is there workaround in case this part goes belly up.
It looks like a piece of wire with spade connectors and insulation on it.
Can a person with no real skill at electrical simply construct a suitable replacement.
Any help would be most appreciated. Have no idea as to how to overcome this problem

Thanks very much for the getting back to me.
I have looked over the info you sent.
it is very helpful.
I believe I may have stumbled into a solution. I did not realize the 60 amp AM1 link was bolted in.
Assumed it was like the rest of the fusible links in that row. I will unbolt and replace with 80A Toyota part #90982-08203
Hopefully that will solve my dilemma
