Electrical issues

Hi I have a 1988 4wd van and have been having some electrical issues I’m wondering if anybody has experienced.
first of all i will randomly get 4 warning lights on the dash that will all blink on at the same time. Some times they stay on for a while, then flicker then turn off. Seems totally random and not really associated with any real problem. Just annoying
secondly my headlights have started to just shut off while I’m driving down the road at night. I’ve been able to fix it by tugging on the bundle of wires that are directly below the steering wheel just under the trim. The other thing that will temporarily turn them on is by pulling back on the light handle that usually turns on the brights.
any idea what the issues could be or how I could fix them? Thanks, Chris

Hey vancation, fusible links are the common issue that can cause this. Google search for” fusible link thread Toyota van tech”. Should be up at the top. Not to hard to fix, but may want to figure it out sooner rather later cause you may end up stranded without power.
