Well after getting my baby home last month I’m finally able to work on the brakes since I’ve been working so much. Pulled one front wheel off with the intent of replacing calipers, discs and pads. When I had my 89 van back in the day I could easily pull off the caliper because there is a mounting bolt on the bottom and the top. But with my 85, surprise surprise surprise! There’s no mounting bolt on the top so I’ve included a picture to get some input from you guys that have done this before. If you look at the picture, at the top that is not a hex bolt of any kind. In fact there was a dust cover over it . So what do I Gotta do here to get this caliper off?
Thanks

there isnt a bolt for the top one. once you remove the bottom bolt it should just slide off the pin that is attached to the caliper bracket. however it seems yours is seized on there pretty good. penetrating oil and working the cailper back and forth with hammers and pry bars is how youre going to get it off. i just encountered this myself last night. the attached picture highlights the pin attached to the bracket.

No problem, and best of luck in your endeavor to free up those calipers

Finally completed the front brakes! New rotors, calipers, pads, hubs and bearings on both sides. Now on to the rear!
