Hi all,

Does anyone know the original/recommended tire specs for the 1989 Toyota Townace? Mine came with 215/70R14 all seasons on it but I feel these are too wide as there is a rub on sharp turns - and it's time to replace them anyway. I have a set available to me that are 205/75R14 which I'm thinking could work (despite being slightly taller), but am curious to know the original size for my reference.

Thanks so much in advance.
(P.S. New to this so please forgive me if the info is elsewhere on the forum! Wasn't able to find anything using the search bar.)

Marissa there may be a plate or sticker inside the driver side door jam that has the information posted, this is posted in mine but I’ve been running Michelin 205/70R14’s on my 2WD TownAce without any issues and have replaced all 4 shocks with KYB Gas adjust Shocks.

Check it out and let us know if you have the same type of sticker and if you have a 2WD or 4WD
