There isnt really anything that could leak there.
First thought would be an old spill not cleaned up.
But there is another possibility.
The floor is covered in a sound deadening material that has some tar content to it.
I found mine all buckled and melted and it looked a damn mess (though there was nothing "wet")
Just a thought

That sound deadening stuff is definitely very rotten but this seems like motor oil. I guess it could be from the previous owner changing the filter? I've had the van a couple years and I don't recall ever spilling oil there

That is very weird.
Is it actually wet or is it a soaked in/dry stain?
If still wet, can you smell anything from it?
Are you using any fluids that would indicate a significant leak?
What do the carpets look like that were on top of that?
(a coffee spill would dry and disappear, but oil would leave a visible stain, especially if wet below)
If you pull access panels, can you find oil residue on any of the gasket surfaces?
Does it look like it's washing down from above or just mysteriously pooled next to the battery cover?
Speaking of which, is there any chance that someone oil sprayed the van previously, without the battery cover bolted down?

It's actually wet! I've wiped it up now so can't really smell it. Fluid levels seem fine, she seems to burn a lil oil but not to the point it's a concern. If anything it looks like it could've come from the heating vent in the doghouse??? The carpet isn't stained but the lil wood panel under the carpet is. I'll check the access panels when I have a chance!
