(this is intended to be a 'How Green Was My Valley' reference; it doesn't really work but I'm sticking with it)

Because of electrical issues I'm paying close attention to fuse panel. After driving I noticed the relays feel warm to the touch - top cap is ~75-80-degrees per the temperature gun. I'm trying to determine if I have a bad connection somewhere which is creating heat, if the relays are going bad and should be replaced, or if this is normal .

Question - Do your relays warm up? After driving if you reach up and put your thumb on top of the relays (just above main fuse panel) how to they feel?

If interested: I rented a FLIR infrared camera from Home Depot to (literally) see what what go was going on.

In my case, primary heat source is from the relays themselves. With the infrared camera you can watch the active relays (main, front blower, headlight) heat up surrounded by cooler pins/wires/connectors. The box on the left is the external relay that clips to the side with yellow connector - also warm. The hottest thing is the heater hose in the background... ignore that. Still trying to figure out if this is normal behavior for these relays.

(note - infrared and visible light images don't overlay perfectly for closeup shot -like wedged under a dashboard- makes it a bit confusing to look at)

I also managed to see a few other not great connections, such as...
