So my van's been sitting for quite a while. I'll take us through the chain of events of the last 24 hours.
- Last night at 11pm - arrive home, knowing I'm going to need the van tomorrow so I go to move it.
- Lights but no crank
- Jump it with box and move it - runs fine.
- This morning, go to run my errand.
- Starts fine, runs fine for first minute or so.
- Starts misfiring as I'm going along.
- Smell something burning as well, briefly.
- Turn around, go home
- Get home, track misfire to number 1, verify that I have spark at that lead.
- Check vacuum connections, look for anything burnt, etc.
- Pull codes, and it blinks 2, 8, and 11. (MAF, IAT, and 'switch') respectively.
If I give it some stick, the misfire briefly goes away at idle, but then settles back into it. It will also sometimes go away for a second on it's own. Makes me think it's one of the idle switches, but I'm not sure if or how these three codes interact. And I still can't explain the burning smell.
