View Full Version : AC Idler Pulley
Hello folks. Just changed the bearing on my power steering idler pulley and I wanted to do the same for the AC idler pulley. Seems like I need to remove the passenger's side panel for that one. Could anyone show me a picture of exactly where this AC idler pulley is located, just so I'm sure. Thanks.

This (https://www.toyotavantech.com/forum/showthread.php?953-Air-conditioning-salvagable) one has a couple good pics with the right side engine cover removed. Take note that the fan, power steering pulley, and alternator are removed in these pics.
Nice. That's what I thought. Should have changed this out when I replaced the fan clutch!!! There appears to be only one tensioner adjustment bolt on the top. That right? Thanks very much for the pic.

The bracketry is different than the P/S tensioner but the operation is the same. Loosen the center nut then turn the bolt to tighten or loosen.
Very good. Thanks so much.
