I followed the procedure of unplugging the sensor to test whether it's a false positive. It is.
It's been on for years now. Is these a way to just stop disconnect the light?

Two ways... pull the bulb from the gauge cluster that illuminates the red light. OR, on the pan sensor just tie the two wires together and complete the circuit...
You are talking about the level sensor on the pan, no?

Sorry to hijack, Does anyone know where to get a connector that works for the oil pan harness? My oil lights been on since I rewired my alternator and I can’t find that connector to make a new harness. If all else fails I’ll just make a jumper wire as suggested...

Only place I know of is the Junkyard... You might try to find a similar size one and modify it also... best I got.
