What is this dash icon?

Hi! I'm new here. Just bought a '89 Van in SoCal.

There's a light that turns on which puzzles me. It turns on when the Radiator light turns off, once the car gets moving.

It's amber when it illuminates. It's not the Door ajar indicator, that's another light.

Any knowledge on what this icon means or how to make it turn off would be wonderful - I can't find any information anywhere.

Also a dumb question/clarification, when the "Overdrive Off" indicator is illuminated, that means it is expecting normal driving, correct?

Rear hatch unlocked.
When "O/D off" is illuminated you have turned off 4th gear and your transmission will operate as a 3 spd.
