rear bumper bracket - need pic please

building a custom rear bumper but want to use the original bracketing method.

I read up on the existing posts so am aware there 2 bolts per mount (1 bottom that threads to frame and 1 top that threads to bracket (?), but could not find any pics of the actually brackets.

Anyone have rear bumper bracket pics so I can recreate similar?

1.5" x 3/16 square tubing works pretty well..cut at steep angle and weld in a captive nut..

any weird sizing going on with that back bolt (into frame)?

I've tried a few sizes (assume metric) but can't get a good match to the threads in that body frame hole?

The mounting bolts are M12X1.25 IIRC.

Thats what I just weasured... nothing odd about them. might need to chase the threads with a tap or something, they tend to take a healthy dose of the elements considering where they are. Ace Hardwrare carries new grade 8 ones if I recall.

got 'em as recommended and they are perfect. There was a bit of gunk in there which is why it felt like the wrong thread size.

(1987 4X4 VAN) THIS MIGHT SEEM LIKE AN ODD QUESTION, BUT DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN EXPLODED VIEW OF THESE BUMPERS? DO THEY JUST BOLT ON WITH A THROUGH
BOLT THAT GOES ALL THE WAY FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP? (SORRY ABOUT ALL CAPS. MAKES IT EASIER FOR ME TO READ)------------------------- I'LL LIKELY BE ADDING A FRONT JEEP TUBE BUMPER IN FRONT OF THE FRONT BUMPER AND A SWING AWAY TIRE SPARE BUMPER ON THE BACK. BUT FIRST. I NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW THEY ALL GO ON. I CAN CRAWL UNDER AND UNBOLT STUFF AT RANDOM OR I CAN AVOID REINVENTING THE WHEEL AND ASK THE GUYS WHO HAVE DONE THIS ALREADY.
