I haven't driven my imported Master Ace much yet, but I have noticed that it will randomly shake sometimes after driving for about 10 miles, it's a rhythmic shake, speed doesn't matter, and seems to go slower when I go slower until I stop, when I start again, it's gone. I though maybe a bump in a tire, but I don't see any. There is also a random chime that dings intermittently usually while on the highway, I have no idea what it is. It has about 85k miles on it. Any help is appreciated.

As for the "rhythmic shake" I was thinking the tires as well cause I had a bubble in one of mine a while back, but if it goes away after you stop then it's something else that I wouldn't be able to help diagnose, sorry.
As for the "chime" on the freeway at higher speeds that would be what I like to call the JDM speed control warning system (this is just a joke of course). It will usually start to chime at 100 kph = 62 mph, mine does the same thing so I keep the speed right under that.... see speed control warning system:yes:
Depending on the diagnosis of the rhythmic shake your posting may be moved to the appropriate section of the forum that it applies to i.e. Toyota Van, 4WD or Diesel section.

Thank you, I thought the chime might be speed related, I think I'll disable it 😀.

Anybody have an idea about why my van is shaking?

Could be your driveshaft is out of alignment/has loose bolts.

Van still randomly shakes. I did replace the front tires because one was splitting in a few places, but that is not my problem.
