After being tired of having to pump the gas pedal to start the van for the first time of the day I am trying to switch out my cold start injector. Previous owner said it needed a new one. I tested the resistance of it per the FSM and electrically it checks out. I have a couple salvaged cold start injectors to try out but my issue is I can't find a gasket for it. I ordered one from TPD, but they said it's discontinued. I dont want to fork out $140 for an aftermarket Airtex injector just to get the gasket it comes with.
Also, does anyone have guidance on cleaning the CSI? I also have a salvaged cold start time switch to put in as well. I did the resistance test on it and it appears to be out of spec..
Thanks

Is the injector the same as the injectors on the fuel rail? I'm not sure but if so you can get those from rockauto and mr injector. You could bring it or send it to Dr. Injector(Or Mr.?)to have it cleaned and tested and they should put new gaskets on it too.
Make sure it's not just the electrical connector not making contact-these injector connectors break and don't hold to the injector.

I am talking about the cold start injector, I think sometimes people refer to it as the "cold start valve". Part number 23293-73011 is the gasket for it. Its discontinued at toyotapartsdeal.

Oh I see, thought it had an o-ring like the injectors do.
Maybe you should make your own. Doesn't look too fancy and if you put some FIPG(Or RTV) on both sides it should hold tight.
I watched a youtube about cleaning injectors and flushed them backwards and forwards and it worked for when my injectors were clogged but I don't think they were horribly clogged.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLuAVhVp44Y -something like this. At least you can try it for fun since you have some spares.
Also I looked it up and ebay sells a kit for injector cleaning for 10$-which I've never used so not sure.
This Toyota dealership says they have it, worth a try? http://parts.villagetoyota.com/products/gb/TOYOTA/VAN/GASKET--COLD-START-INJECTOR/2030505/2329373011.html?partner=googlebase_adwords&kwd=&origin=pla

What did you end up doing for this? I pulled mine off and saw it was real dirty so ill try cleaning it but when i went to buy a gasket, sure enough they were NLA!
BTW, rock auto shows STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS CJ29 is compatible, its a little bit cheaper (but not by much) than the airtex/wells part at $125. still quite expensive. i think mine works fine, but i didn't realize when i pulled it there wouldn't be any gaskets available for it

I was just about to make a gasket, but then traced my problem elsewhere. As far as I know now, my csi works fine. PO starter bypass was not priming the fuel pump

Bummer! so i guess ill make my own gasket. what material do you use? something like this (https://www.amazon.com/Fel-Pro-3157-Gasket-Material/dp/B000CNISM2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495475898&sr=8-1&keywords=gasket+paper)?

I'm no expert in this, but you can get a roll of gasket paper from the auto parts store for about $7. I think some are marked to be ok around gasoline. Whereas some are for applications that will see water. Djshimon's advice sounds solid. Thankfully the CSI is in a pretty easy spot should your gasket leak and need to be replaced.
Edit: yeah something like the link you posted.
