Power steering shield...save the alternator

Now that summer is here, I hope to fabricate and install a shield that protects the alternator from the problematic power steering pump ATF leak. Tim or anyone else made a shield? I remember speaking with a guy a few years ago who had made such a shield and installed it with success. I have a few photos, but was hoping someone had dimensions to help expedite the process...

seems like I saw a post on repairing/ re fabricating the hose posted by Tim. I have made a couple of different modifications over the years to prevent alternator failure. Someone told me they used to make some kind of rubber cover for the alt. I had one on an old baja bug to keep the mud out.
