Tried ordering a new OEM Throttle Position Sensor today and they have been discontinued Toyota Part #89452-14020. I am wondering what the consensus is on any of the aftermarket TPS's?

Here's an OEM one available on Amazon-
http://www.amazon.com/Toyota-89452-14020-Throttle-Position-Sensor/dp/B00KTK1Z82/ref=au_as_r?_encoding=UTF8&Make=Toyota%7C76&Model=Van%7C942&Year=1989%7C1989&ie=UTF8&n=15684181&newVehicle=1&s=automotive&vehicleId=1&vehicleType=automotive
or you can go to rockauto and plug in your filters and see what comes up, I know they're having a close out on a bunch of parts as well.
Timsrv has posted the part number on one his "weekend rebuild/ weekend project " thread that has a lot of good information, check it out using the search feature on the top right. I think that's the name of the thread.
Good luck:thmbup:

I know that the OEM TPS is still available on the internets. I'm just curios if there have been any issues with a non OEM TPS. I haven't read of anyone posting about that when I've used the search bar feature in the top right:wnk:, unless I am missing something?

This thread (http://www.toyotavantech.com/forum/showthread.php?1242-Article-Cleaning-the-Throttle-Body) was the one that helped me, and it even shows you how to properly adjust the new TPS. The aftermarket TPS Tim (and other's here, myself included) have gone with is Beck Arnley #158-0503. I've probably put close to 10k miles on the van since I replaced the TPS with the Beck Arnley one and it seems solid enough.
