i spotted a van automatic 4 speed rwd what is the rpm on the highways at around 100-110 km/h ? i am wondering if it is really bad on gas compared to a 5spd manual what you guys think about the 4 speed automatic transmission ? is it realiable ?

On my 3Y, Auto I just took a look today while driving and I'm running 2400ish RPM's at 100 km/h, as far as gas mileage wit really varies on personal driving habits and conditions, but I get about 19.2ish miles per gallon on my auto and 20.8ish on my 4Y, manual.
As as far as reliability I guess if your proactive with your maintainence and soft on the pedal it'll last longer. But I know manuals are less troublesome then automatics.
Hope that helps:thmbup:
