Slow day at work today. So I am taking advantage of the time to post some questions that have been adding up.
Does anyone have the instructions on how to use the rear heater. :cnfsd:
How do I turn the fan on. The blower only works when the rear a/c is switched on.
May be I will take a picture of the rear climate control cluster for clarification..
Thanks!

There's a dial around the outside of the rear fan speed switch that turns the rear a/c off. Think old car radio with the tone dial behind the volume knob. With the a/c off you can turn on just the fan from the front or rear switch. If the rear a/c dial is turned on then the a/c comes on with the fan. Also the rear heat only works from the floor vents and the a/c only from the overhead vents.

Hmmm. I turn the dial all the way CCW, flipped the levers to heat, and switch the fan speed on. Nothing happens. Press the fan button and cool air blows from the top and rear cooling unit.
Also, page AC-47 Diagram NO 1. Indicates that the AC Switch is the Rear Heater Fan...:cnfsd:

Ian I had issues with my controls when I first bought my van. You may have he same issues?? What i found was AC worked and fan blows fine. However I don't get heat and can't switch the temperature switch or directional switch. Upon digging, the cables that ran from the control panel to the blower fan were seized. And the hinges on the doors in the blower fan that open and close were also rusted.

Thank you ratatouille. Something is wonky about the heating/cooling.
I will have to look under the van to see if the cables are still attached, because the levers are not seized.
Could another possibility could be that coolant is not circulating to the rear heater core?

I found what could possibly be the problem. -looks like there is a connection duct missing. It appears that the missing part connects air flow from the rear blower to the rear climate control floor vents. It is located underneath the van on the passenger side, adjacent to the wheel well, and directly under the gas cap door.
When I switch the fan on, it blows cold air directly towards the ground outside the van:dizzy:. However the air is still cold. I am hoping the blower circulates the air over the heater core, then to the floor vents.
Anyone have any insight? Thanks!
