Hello,
I have '98 Previa GL 4WD that has one brake cylinder on front calipers. Front left caliper is loud and making noise so I wont to change them.
Problem is that I cant find calipers with one cylinder, I found allways with two brake cylinders. I wont to know can I put these calipers with two cylinders on my Previa that have one or can I use it from Hiace or from some other car? Thank you!

why don't you rebulid it? seal kits are cheap
why is it making noise? are the brake pads worn? you need to take it off and look

They are worn... Mechanic told me that I need to replace them. :wall:

I'm scratching my head over how a caliper could make noise. Worn-through pads screeching against the disk I can imagine. But bad calipers stick and cause your car to pull to that side, or leak, but they don't make noise all by themselves.
Could it be you just need new disks and pads? The pros love to replace calipers too, since they're easy to do for a markup on the part cost and the extra labor bill.
