So I have a 1987 Toyota van LE and my mechanic said the dripping that's been happening has been due to my heater core.

I ordered one from orileys and my mechanic said that it was slightly too big and that the tubes on the end weren't "curved" like the one currently in my van is. So I return the part and I'm checking rock auto and the picture provided was the same as the one that I had just returned... Which looked like this

So my question is, is the mechanic wrong? Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated!

The one you bought looks just the the one I bought (but haven't installed yet).
For what it's worth, the original one in my van has straight tubes sticking down and its the hoses that make the turn.
Realize that doesn't help much.

Yeah i don't know what to do since it seems
to be dripping some coolant fluid and I can't keep the van like that haha
