Hello you guys. I would like to pull out the exterior windshield trim to restore it. Two questions: 1) Can it be replaced with new? Does anyone do aftermarket? OR,,,,,,,,,,,,how do I get it out without breaking it? Thanks. Dave

Windshield trim is NLA (No Longer Available). Nobody makes stuff like this aftermarket for our vans. With the right touch, it can be removed without breaking or tweaking. I was recently able to remove all my trim without damage & even managed to save the plastic clips. I did however purchase a new set of clips on eBay, and although the picture in this listing is not accurate, the parts that came are identical to the ones I took out.

I'd give you directions on how to remove trim, but I've already forgotten :dizzy:. Just be careful and limit the force applied. Get the corner pieces 1st, then attempt to lift, push, twist, and/or slide until something moves or unsnaps. If I remember right, the bottom piece slides off. The sides and the top pieces pop-off. To do this, push from the glass side towards the body metal side. Lift it up on the body side while pushing from the glass side. There's 5 or 6 clips per section. Tim
