Oh my....middle runner from sliding door damaged :/

Hi all.

I have a Toyota Tarago from 1984 and the middle runner need new guide posts and this little wheel.
But since Toyota is not producing that part anymore, it's kinda hard to find it.

My idea was to buy a nylon rod with 10mm diameter and drill a hole in it (something below 4mm) and hammer it on the 2 guiding posts.
And for the middle thing, where the door is sliding in the rail, I would get a flanged plastic bush...

Is that going to work or am I wrong? Oo

Hi & welcome to TVT! These can usually be fixed. There's at least a couple threads here that show different ways to do the job. Here's what I did to fix my Previa slider: http://www.toyotavantech.com/forum/showthread.php?187-Sliding-door-fix. This same fix will also work on the van (Tarago) sliders as well.
