Does anyone know if the 91 through 93 Previa headlamp assemblies are compatible with my 1995 Previa?

I would like to replace my headlamp assemblies because the original equipment is extremely faded and yellowed so light output has been reduced severely. I'd rather not waste time to polish them up only for them to yellow again in a matter of months.

How is an aftermarket headlamp assembly such as this in terms of plastics quality and clarity?

no they're not
91-93 headlights uses crappy 9004 bulbs with vastly inferior beam patterns
the 94+ headlights uses the much better 9003 bulbs with much improved beam patterns and slightly improved plastics

installing older headlights is a downgrade!

your other option is to import glass headlights from europe like I did.... expensive and hard to find

Thanks for the heads up. Which specific Euro market glass lenses do I look for? Any keywords or identifiers?

Would something like these 1995 Previa Lucida headlamps bolt-on and work?

Or this for a 2000 Previa?

actually, there is no such thing as a "previa lucida", only an "estima lucida" which is a japan only vehicle with completely different front and rear fascias... so no, they will not work... the shape of the lights you see in the pics should be obvious enough that it won't work
the 2nd headlight you show fits but is NOT safe for american roads as it is designed for left hand traffic.... you cannot buy headlights from a LHT country because the beam patterns are wrong... the beam patterns are asymmetric and will blind oncoming traffic on our roads and also take away your road side visibility... non-US headlights do not behave as mere "blobs" of light what many of us are used to, they have very directional traits, so you may even get in trouble with the law with po-po thinking you are driving with high beams on!

you should only buy headlights from a RHT country, which is any country in europe that's not UK, ireland, malta, or cyprus... that leaves you plenty of countries to choose from, but language barrier can be tricky
no, australia and new zealand won't work either... they drive on the "wrong" side of the road just like japan (obviously japan is no go, besides the language barrier problem)
